Happy Memorial Day, everyone! We have had a wonderful holiday spent with family, and the littlest member of the group enjoyed some fun in the sun and baby pool. The Great Closet Turnover: 6-9 months

In Mackenzie's closet I tend to keep two sizes worth of clothes at any point in time. Why? Because currently she changes sizes every couple of months and she always seems to be able to wear a range of sizes on any given day. Currently her closet boasts 3-6 month clothes and 6-9 month clothes. Well, it did until a few days ago when I decided to take all of the 3-6 month clothes out and toss them on the Papasan chair residing in the loft right now.

I apologize for the lack of posting this week, I have been feeling a bit under the weather and have actually been in bed before Mackenzie a few nights. This not only means that Ben is responsible for most of the nightly duties (which I'm sure he's less than thrilled about as Mackenzie is not very easy to put to sleep right now), but also means I haven't had much time for doing projects around the house or writing blog posts. I fully intend to make up for my absence this weekend, though.

Remember back to this post? I know, it's been quite a while. Proof that life with an infant progresses at a pace all its own. I would have thought the frames would have been hung ages ago.


Actually, trying to hang these suckers has been quite a saga. One that wasn't completed until last night. Hang on to your hats folks, because we're in for a bumpy ride.

Okay, so technically we got back on Saturday. But, as many of you are probably aware, it takes a bit of hard work to return to normal life after being gone for ten days. Especially when the littlest member of your family is still on California time and has decided she doesn't need to go to bed until 12:30 AM. Ouch.

Greetings from San Diego!

Hello there!


Sorry for the lack of post writing over the last week or so. We had an incredibly busy weekend followed by preparation for a ten day trip to the sunny city of San Diego. As of yesterday we are enjoying the beautiful weather in California. It is absolutely gorgeous - sunny and mid 60s to 70s. Mackenzie did wonderfully on the plane. She was a happy girl throughout the entire first flight (Detroit to Denver) and then slept during the second flight from Denver to San Diego.
